They're also filming scenes on Maverick Street near the MBTA Blue Line T stop.

"Donnie Walhberg and a red headed actor I didn't recognize are doing a scene there," says one Loaded Gun spy.

Group trip to Best of Open Screen?

As noted below, Open Screen will be showing the best work of the year on January 13 at Brattle Theater, 7:00pm. The BVPDG has been discussing showing some of our individual (and potentially collaborative) work at Open Screen in the future, so this would be a good opportunity to see what has been going on there. If you think it would be good to organize a group outing to the Brattle for this, let us know in the comments here, and we will try to get it together.

If you're looking to practice your editing skills, but don't have any footage, then you can get plenty of things under a creative commons license at The Internet Archive. I didn't have any footage (or editing skills) when I wanted to make a video for one of my songs, but this site had plenty of interesting things to throw together.

Here's my result:

PS
Let's get the blog going! I'd love to see some of the work of the members who actually do video.
